Our taste buds were treated to the finest new Irish food in The Big Grill’s first Me Auld Flower Food and Drink Festival in the old Fruit, Veg and Flower Market in Smithfield. Patrick’s Festival Quarter at the National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks.Īll across Dublin locals and visitors alike participated in events throughout the Festival as part of our One City Programme, including everything from Walking Tours and Workshops, to Exhibitions, to the RTÉ Concert Orchestra and to everything in between. We came together to celebrate the very best in Irish music, street theatre, conversation, poetry, street theatre, circus, food and drink and so much more in St. For the first time, we witnessed giant snakes and dragons popping up around Dublin as part of our Suntas! programme, inviting visitors to look up and look on the buildings and streets of Dublin with fresh perspective. Featuring over 4,000 participants from all over the world, Dublin city was the epicentre of celebrations of all things Irish – a true representation of the ever expanding spectrum of Irish identity and culture. ![]() On the 17 March, we welcomed half a million people on to the streets of Dublin for our biggest ever St Patrick’s Day Parade.
